Open Burning Ban - Cancelled

 

Effective 13:00 PM. Wednesday September 19, 2018, and until further notice, the OPEN BURNING BAN within the Village of Radium Hot Springs is cancelled.

“Large scale burning”, means any burning exceeding one (1) meter in diameter and one (1) meter in height, or, in the case of grass burning, exceeding 25 square meters in area.

The following precautions should be taken:

  • Ensure that enough people, water, and tools are on hand to control the fire and prevent spreading.
  • Do not burn in windy conditions.
  • Never leave a fire unattended.

This cancellation does not affect the discharge of fireworks within the Village of Radium Hot Springs.

The discharge of any fireworks within the Village of Radium Hot Springs is prohibited at any time without permit issued by the Radium Hot Springs Fire Department.

All conditions related to this bylaw are still in effect.
