Effective 12:01 (noon), Friday August 27, 2021, and until further notice, the “small scale burning ban within the Village of Radium Hot Springs is cancelled. This ban may be re-instated within the Village if warmer and drier conditions return.

This cancellation does not allow the discharge of any type of fireworks within the Village

“Small scale burning”, means any burning less than one (1) meter in diameter and one (1) meter in height, or, in the case of grass burning, less than 25 square meters in area.

The discharge of any fireworks is banned within the Village of Radium Hot Springs without permit.

This order, pursuant to Village of Radium Hot Springs “Open Burning Bylaw No. 297”.

Large scale burning is remains prohibited within the Village of Radium Hot Springs until further notice is given.

“Large scale burning”, means any burning exceeding one (1) meter in diameter and one (1) meter in height, or, in the case of grass burning, exceeding 25 square meters in area.

This order is pursuant to Village of Radium Hot Springs “Open Burning Bylaw No. 297”.
