New Water Conservation and Use Bylaw

At the April 8th, 2024 Regular Council Meeting, Council adopted Bylaw No. 505, 2024 – Water Use and Conservation.

Some of the key additions/changes to the new bylaw are the addition of new terms (“Drip Irrigation” and “Underground Irrigation”); renaming the stages of water restrictions; removal of the seasonal watering schedule to a year-round watering schedule; and the introduction of a water permit for new plantings.
