Mayor & Councillors

The current Council is serving a four-year term from 2018-2022.

Mayor Clara Reinhardt

After spending 30 years living and working in two Territories and three Provinces, my husband and I moved to Radium Hot springs in 2005 upon his retirement. There hasn’t been a day where we have not felt at home or reconsidered this decision. We love living in paradise! After two terms as a Village councilor and one term as Mayor, I am very pleased to have been given the opportunity to serve as Mayor for a second term.

I look forward to hearing from you at

Councillor Todd Logan

My wife and I have lived in Radium Hot Springs since 1993, and raised two great kids in this Village. As a newcomer to Radium, my neighbour happened to be the Village’s fire chief, so I was encouraged to join the Radium Volunteer Fire Department (hard to say no to a neighbour!), and continue to be an active member. In May 2016, I also trained and received my First Responder licence.

I first ran for council in 2011, and am now in my third term. I currently sit on the Rotary Community Garden Committee and am an active garden member. The ongoing commitment I bring to being a councillor is based on a “boots on the ground” approach, ready to help where I can.

My family and I moved to Radium Hot Springs in 2011 after searching for a small business that would allow us to stay at home and raise our two boys. We settled on this amazing community. I decided to join Council to do my best to help show the rest of the world what a lovely area we live in, and assist with local decision-making to help guide our small town forward.

Having visited the Columbia Valley since childhood, I made a permanent relocation here, both to follow a business opportunity and to be closer to my nieces and nephews. My partner and I moved here together and spend a healthy amount of time exploring the wonderful outdoors that are Radium’s backyard. My favourite times in Radium have been around community events and social gatherings. I try to stay active in our community as a business owner, Chamber of Commerce board member, volunteer, and now as a member of Council. I am constantly inspired by how much people love this village, and enjoy meeting residents and visitors with ideas about how to make our community even better.

My wife and I were Albertans hoping to eventually move to the warm side of the Rockies. The dream became reality when our vacation property became our full-time home in 2011. Since then, we have enjoyed this beautiful area, as have our visiting children and grandchildren. I believe citizens have an obligation to contribute to their communities. I have been an active Rotarian (three-term president) and championed the Radium Rotary Gardens, where I am still a Garden Committee member. I have also been active politically at both the federal and provincial level. Now at the councillor level, my vision is to help keep the Village a great place to visit and live.
