Unfortunately, Mother Nature has not been cooperative this winter, and the Radium Rink remains closed for public skating.
The weather plays a big factor in the operation of the rink. Village staff will make ice as weather allows. Typically -6 overnight temperatures (at minimum) are needed, with daytime temperatures remaining below zero.
The rink is monitored by staff. At times, staff may be required to close the rink, on short notice, to ensure the safety of the public.
If the doors are open, feel free to skate!
The rink is used by skaters of all abilities – please be respectful and share the space with others.
