Short Term Rental Business Licence Application
As per bylaw, no person shall carry on a Short Term Rental (STR) business within a premises in the Village without a licence for that business. The application and applicable bylaws are found in the Village’s Document Centre: https://radiumhotsprings.civicweb.net/filepro/documents/
Completed application forms, including, if applicable, a strata approval letter, can be sent to the Village Office, to admin@radiumhotsprings.ca, mailed or faxed to the Village office.
Once the application has been reviewed and approved, fees will be assessed, and an invoice will be provided. Payment is due before the licence is issued to the applicant.
Short Term Rental Business Licences must be renewed annually. A completed Application form, and, if applicable, strata approval letter, must be received and reviewed by the bylaw officer in January of each year, prior to a renewal licence being issued. Failure to submit the strata approval letter may result in a delay in processing your licence.
Business Licensing Requirements
Any person owning a business within the Village of Radium Hot Springs or doing business within the Village of Radium Hot Springs, such as contractors (seasonal, too), must obtain an annual Business Licence.
The business licensing process ensures the business community is operating in a responsible way, and contributes toward the cost of providing essential business infrastructure such as roads, water, sewer, and snow removal.
Business licences are issued annually and run from January to December 31st. Fees vary as set out in the Business Licence Bylaw and are pro-rated depending on when the application is approved.
Licences are subject to approval by staff.

Changes to Your Licence
Business owners are required to notify the Village of Radium Hot Springs of any changes to their business licence.
