Business Licensing

Any person owning or doing business within the Village of Radium Hot Springs, including seasonal contractors, must obtain an annual business licence. If you have questions about whether you require a business licence, contact the Village Office.

Business licences are issued annually and are valid from January to December 31. Fees vary and are defined in the fees and charges bylaw, found in the Document Centre.

Licences are subject to approval by staff.

Short-Term Rental (STR) businesses operating within the Village are required to hold a valid business licence. All business licences must be renewed annually. A completed application form must be received and reviewed by the Bylaw Officer in January of each year, prior to a renewal licence being issued.

Submit your completed STR licence application, along with the required self-attestation form, to the Village Office. Upon payment of the $400 review fee, the application will be processed. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, a $200 fee is required to obtain a business licence.

Business owners are required to notify the Village of Radium Hot Springs of any changes to their business licence.
