Animal Licensing

In accordance with Village bylaws, all dogs over the age of six months must be licensed in Radium Hot Springs. Licences are required whether you are a property owner or a renter.

Licence Fees

Licence fees are due in January each year.

  • Spayed or neutered dogs: $15
  • Dogs that are not spayed or neutered: $40

How to Licence Your Dog

If your dog is new to the Village, complete the Animal Registration Form and submit it to the Village Office by fax, email, or in person. Please provide veterinary proof that your dog has been spayed or neutered when applying for your licence. A licence will be issued upon payment of the fee.

Dog Control and Enforcement

Under the Animal Care and Control Bylaw, owners are subject to fines if a dog is found at large and subsequently impounded by the Animal Control Officer. For more information, review Bylaw No. 519, 2026 Animal Care and Control.
