BC Hydro has advised that there will be a 14-hour power outage on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 7:00am to 9:00pm.
Per BC Hydro, work crews will be replacing critical structures, which will serve to reinforce reliability to Golden, Radium Hot Springs, and Parson.
BC Hydro will be undertaking customer notification closer to the outage date. Please note that this power outage may not affect some parts of Radium Hot Springs (for instance, the downtown core could have power).
Please be prepared for this prolonged outage.
