BC Hydro has advised that there will be a 14-hour power outage on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 7:00am to 9:00pm. This outage will only affect certain areas of Radium Hot Springs, but will not affect the downtown business community (motels, hotels, businesses).
The areas highlighted in DARK GREEN are affected.
Per BC Hydro, work crews will be replacing critical structures, which will serve to reinforce reliability to Golden, Radium Hot Springs, and Parson.
BC Hydro will be undertaking customer notification closer to the outage date.
Please be prepared for this prolonged outage.
