About the Pump and Jump Track
The Radium Hot Springs Pump and Jump Track is a bicycle pump track located in Sinclair Canyon below Rotary Park, originally created by the Columbia Valley Cycling Society in partnership with the Sunrise Rotary Club of Radium and the Village of Radium Hot Springs.
A pump track is a trail system of small hills and banked corners designed so riders can generate speed by pumping through the terrain rather than pedalling. The Pump and Jump Track offers riders of all ages and abilities the chance to build skills and confidence on their bikes.
Access
The Pump and Jump Track can be reached three ways:
- From Rotary Park: take the gravel path extending down from the park to the track area
- From Forsters Landing Road: use the path across from Revelstoke Avenue, marked by a Village kiosk and locked gate
- From the lower Sinclair Creek parking lot: head down Forsters Landing Road, take a sharp right just before Horsethief Creek Road onto the road skirting the Canfor mill log yard. From the parking lot, follow the Sinclair Creek trail to the bike area below Rotary Park
