Downtown Parking
Main Street East and Main Street West run parallel to Highway 93/95 on the east and west sides of the Village downtown. Both streets offer public parking for non-commercial vehicles and provide easy access to the businesses located there.
There are also public parking lots behind Mountainside Market on Stations Drive, across from the Destination Inn on St. Mary's Street, and adjacent to the Radium Hot Springs Centre.
Commercial Vehicle Parking
A three-hour time restriction is in place for commercial vehicles and vehicle-and-trailer combinations with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating exceeding 5,500 kg. This restriction applies to any highway or street within the commercial zone, including Main Street East and West.
No parking of commercial vehicles is permitted on residential streets.
The traffic and parking bylaw allows enough time for commercial vehicle drivers to park, have a meal, and shop at local stores, but not park long-term or stay overnight along the highway or streets.
