The Administration Department is directed by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). The CAO provides overall management to Village operations, advises and informs Council on operations and affairs, and is responsible for the implementation of Council’s policies, programs and directions.

The main tasks of the CAO are to:

  • Provide advice and support to the Mayor and Council.
  • Ensure that the direction/ decisions of Mayor and Council are carried out.
  • Be the principle liaison between the municipal Council and Staff.
  • Provide leadership to the Village workforce.
  • Ensure the effective functioning of all Village operations.
  • Ensure effective financial and administrative systems are in place.
