The Sinclair Canyon Trails are an extensive trail system that follows the lower portion of Sinclair Creek. The trails are also an off-leash dog area.

The Trails are easily accessed from Radium in 3 ways:

  • From the trailhead at Rotary Park on a gravel path extending down to the trail area.
  • From the path off Forsters Landing Road across from Revelstoke Avenue marked by a Village kiosk and locked gate.
  • From the lower parking lot at Sinclair Creek. Head down Forsters Landing Road and just before the left turn onto Horsethief Creek Road, take a sharp right turn onto the road that skirts the Canfor mill log yard.

The main trail along the creek has a series of information kiosks outlining points of interest along the length of the trail. The kiosks also serve to educate users on the environment and history of the area. Sinclair Creek has been the site of important trout and kokanee salmon spawning habitat restoration work in recent years, and irrigation work in the past.

The trail from the lower parking lot is relatively flat as it follows the banks of Sinclair Creek in a two-kilometre loop that crosses Sinclair Creek with footbridges in 2 different places. There are 2 picnic tables in the open area close to the lower parking lot, which is a nice oasis perfect for an afternoon picnic. There are also several benches in picturesque spots along the way.
