The Columbia Valley Housing Society (CVHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and managing rental housing across the Columbia Valley, including in Radium Hot Springs.
Founded in 2022, CVHS is a registered charity supported by the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce, Columbia Valley Community Economic Development, Tourism Radium, and local governments including the Village of Radium Hot Springs and the District of Invermere.
The CVHS works to develop, own, and manage affordable rental housing that creates opportunities for living and employment in our region. They are the primary organization connecting people who need housing with available rental units.
Village Partnership:
The Village of Radium Hot Springs has signed a partnership memorandum of understanding with the CVHS:
- CVHS manages the Village-owned three-unit rental property on McKay Street
- CVHS supported the Village with its Housing Accelerator Fund application
- CVHS is a partner in planning future affordable housing developments, including the Ridge Road project
